We have already seen all this, and more than once. That enemies, that comrades in arms are not remembered absolutely – the former play the role of a faceless extras, targets in a dash, the latter – exactly the same blanks, only on our side. Another story about the adventures of the Ghost detachment does not cause any emotions, except perhaps boredom-against the background of Spec Ops: The Line, this is noticeable especially vividly.

Special forces for kindergarten

Ok, the plot turned out to be a gathering of stamps, and even very casually blind. But not only the militant should stay on him. Action, shootings, constant tension … Stop, before us the continuation of a series of tactical shooters. We would be more interesting to us more interesting, and more difficult, which can be completed in different ways, to the maximum using various options for the action on the battlefield. In general, the game often flirts with Stalses. The Ghosts have excellent equipment (which we will talk about), which allows you to become almost invisible to others. Often you have to sneak up to the goal under the very nose of enemies, not afraid that you will be discovered. However, here everything reaches the point of absurdity – after view of the opponents, the opponents are so narrow that they do not notice the special forces, even if he is trampled literally at the distance of an outstretched hand without the camouflage. Farce and only.

In fact, you can not bother with secretive passage. There are practically no places in the game that you can go through the other way than simply interrupting everyone within reach. And to do this is very easy – except for vision problems, enemies have disgusting rifle training. They are not able to oppose the armed for the latest military equipment by special forces. The latter have all the advantages – both invisibility and magnetic sensor, which allows you to look through the

But even if you evaluate the game as just an action movie, the results will be disappointing. There is no need to think, but the action that should impress in such games is not observed. As in the case of the plot, everything is dry, boring and monotonous.

“Weapon loves affection – cleaning and lubrication!”

It would seem that a similar approach to the choice of equipment should greatly affect the gameplay, but in fact … Personally, I could not notice almost no difference in shooting from one weapon of different modifications. Apart from obvious changes that the presence or absence of a muffler or sniper sight gives, all these “increase in stability”, “reduction in return” and other fluctuations in the characteristics in one or the other side practically do not affect the style of play and exist only “on paper”.

The “weapon” turned out much more pretty than in the previous parts. It is a pity that the benefits of modification of weapons are not so obvious.

But the modernization process looks very good – you can even study the device of each individual model on a visual example. And yet – all changes are more likely to cosmetic in nature and are practically useless. Admire the disassembled automaton, change several details to create the most pathos species – that’s all that the “guns” of the “ghosts” are suitable for.

Another widely advertised feature GRFS “A small drone-spiller, which can be explored by the area,” was not able to add something interesting to the game. Well, we fly, we scout … And what is the meaning? All the same, in the end, everything comes down to two options – either to the complete destruction of all enemies in the district, or (less often) to an secret passage past the sentries, and you can often find a safe path without the help of a robot.

It is great for those who want to pretend to play a “real tactical shooter” (which they don’t smell here, of course), without bothering themselves with excessive thought out every action. Everyone else can pass by – you will not lose anything.
